Women’s Adventure Network partners with Alpine Club of Canada to empower newcomer and new Canadian women by providing mentorship to overcome barriers in pursuing outdoor activities.
Through leadership development, six (6) immigrant women gain essential skills from certified guides and experienced trip leaders, preparing them to become outdoor ambassadors for their families and communities.
The project covers a total value of over $600 for each participant, which includes:
- Alpine Club of Canada Membership
- Access to ACMG Guides, trip leaders for mentorship, and information session speakers
- Climbing Training Program
- Lead Rock Climbing Course
